New Update Coming Soon

My site will have some more changes soon. I will be changing the main style to a horizontal based format. Something along the lines of what I’ve seen on several sites of the CSS Zen Garden. I’m hoping to have some good graphics to go along with it but my inexperience with Photoshop is holding that back. I’ve also updated the content significantly.
The other day I also updated my MySpace and will be posting a template for that hopefully soon. I think it would be kind of cool if people “stole” my designs for theirs. As Picasso once said - “Good artists borrow. Great artists steal.”
I’m also hoping to get several other templates up based upon some ideas I’ve seen and modified to suit my purposes. One is a CSS dropdown that works in IE and Mozilla. I have some new ideas for that, I used the original on the MySpace template, and would like to experiment with it. The end goal being to generate a open source design for posting. I’ve been wanting to do that for some time, but simply have not had the time.
I’m also working on upgrading the SEO of my site. I’ve moved it from XHTML 1.0 transitional to XHTML 1.1 Strict and, as I said, reworked the content quite a bit. I’m hoping that and several other ideas I’ve implemented will increase the traffic flow.
Random Tidbit: I mentioned the link before, but Open Source Web Design templates are a great way to get a clean, high impact design for your site. And best of all, since they’re open source they are free. Most of them either offer variations or are easy to modify - similar to the templates for Wordpress. If you search there, I would stick to XHTML 1.0 and 1.1 Strict. They have some killer designs by the artist that did the current skin I’ve chosen for my blog - Andreas Viklund. They can be found under, easily enough, Andreas01, 02, etc. I believe. Definitely worth a look
